Ever notice that inner jerk who lives inside your head and offers you unsolicited judgement and criticism that makes you feel less than, not enough, and, well, horrible?
She’s your inner critic and she’s great at her job - keeping you safe.
She’s nothing more than your fear response designed to keep the status quo intact and keep you from rocking the boat. The problem is that we change by going outside of our comfort zone.
So what can we do with our inner critic? We can sit down, make friends, and ask her to join our team so we can use her wisdom so we’re not fighting against ourselves, setting goals and self-sabotaging, or losing it every time we take a step off our path.
